This is a great thing to check on if you’re downloading a load of small mods amid a few massive ones. Click that, and the window will expand to show your queued mod downloads and their download progression. The benefit in 'Grouping' is that when you finally hit 'issues' you can guess which 'group' is responsible and that can help you zero in on the mod causing the issue. To check out this queue, simply navigate to the bottom of the Nexus Mod Manager screen, where you’ll find a download manager tab. Take this character all the way to the end of the Helgen dungeon. My best advice, is make an UNMODDED new game. No matter where you get your mods from, you have a little -WORK- to do, to ensure a smooth load order. Wrye Bash lets you make a Bash Patch to overcome certain mod compatibility issues with leveled lists, and BOSS helps you sort your load order.Ĥ. Nexus has some really neat mods, and I strongly suggest learning to use them. One version might be more updated/supported than another, or use higher/lower graphics textures or other things.ģ.
That said, many mods which are uploaded in both places have a catch. This doesn't mean they are better or worse. Nexus mods are often unable to be uploaded here due to file size or content type.
Mods are not plug and play, Steam Workshop does a great job of fooling you into thinking it is, Nexus is a reminder that it isn't.Ģ.
